Tigers, pandas and lanterns oh…The Dragon Lights!

If you EVER have a chance to see “The Dragon Lights” presented by Tianyu Arts & Culture Inc it’s a must see. The lanterns were beautiful and were handmade in China. They have been put on display all over the United States for people to enjoy.

Here in Reno it was set up in the beautiful park surrounding the Wilbur May Arboretum Museum. If you got there at the beginning (5pm ish) there was a short show with a variety of acrobats and performers from China that were defiantly worth seeing. After the show as the sun went down, the lights came on and you were able to explore (you could walk around before the lights came on but it’s much more impressive after) . It was amazing walking along the larger than life lantern displays. They also offered Chinese food demonstrations and authentic craft demonstrations depending on which night you were there.

I could keep talking about it but I feel this is the one time that pictures speak louder than words (and I’m a talker, this says a lot!).

If this comes to a town near you, take the time to see it. You won’t be disappointed!
